Common Broker Misconceptions

Unfortunately, this can be true with some brokers, but it’s not always the case and certainly not how we approach the business.

There are what are called “wholesale lenders” which work strictly with brokers directly effectively making them the lender. Other lenders that may work directly with clients often also have a “wholesale channel” that offers preferential pricing to approved broker partners that isn’t available directly to clients. Lenders offer this due to the volume a broker might bring and because there is less overhead when a loan comes from a non-employee.

Ultimately it is our duty to add value to your current capital stack. If we can’t offer you something you  already have or could easily obtain yourself, we happily bow out and look forward to the opportunity to assist with future needs.

While most states do not require licensing for the brokering of business purpose loans, we retain licensing with various regulators currently and never do business without licensing when required.
